Bike Tours by Bike Vermont

Bike, Hike, & Kayak

For a change of pace we offer the option of kayaking (marked with a K on the Schedule), or hiking (marked with an H on the Schedule) on a number of our tours. If you select one of these tours but prefer not to hike or kayak, you will also have the option during those days to cycle using our detailed maps and directions.

Kayaking

We are delighted to offer you expert entry-level instruction and easy quiet water paddling on some of Vermont's most scenic waters. Paddle by Fort Ticonderoga on Lake Champlain, explore the peaceful coastline of Kingsland Bay or Caspian Lake, or wander along lazy stretches of the Battenkill or Connecticut river. There is an extra charge of $60 per person for the kayaking, which includes instruction and use of equipment.

Hiking

Exploring Vermont on foot provides a great opportunity to discover its quiet wooded paths, hidden ponds, and magnificent vistas. Our hikes are designed to be interesting and invigorating without being overly challenging. They include a hike on Mt. Tom on our Woodstock/Northfield Tour; Jay Peak on our Stowe/Northeast Kingdom Tour; and to Hamilton Falls on our Windham/Covered Bridges Tour.
